Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Storr collects, why, and how it's used — and, just as importantly, what Storr is and isn't responsible for. Please read the sections below on third-party content, disclaimers, and liability carefully: they apply to every store, logo, description, offer, and coupon code shown on this site.

Storr is a directory, not a store. We aggregate publicly available information about independent brands in one place purely to make it easier to discover and compare them. We don't manufacture, sell, ship, warehouse, or fulfil anything ourselves, and we are not affiliated with the stores we list unless explicitly stated.

1. Information we collect

• Account info: email address, and name/profile photo if you sign in with Google
• Activity: stores you save, votes you cast on offers, and your preferences (e.g. shipping region)
• Usage: which stores get clicked through to, used in aggregate to understand what's popular — not tied to browsing you do elsewhere

2. How we use it

• To run your account and keep your saved stores/votes in sync across sessions
• To show you relevant stores and offers
• To improve the directory — which categories and stores people actually use

We don't sell your personal data, and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

3. Where store, offer, and coupon content comes from

Store descriptions, logos, categories, contact details, offers, and coupon codes shown on Storr are sourced from the internet — the stores' own public websites and marketing pages, publicly listed contact information, and third-party offer/coupon feeds — and in some cases from user or store-owner submissions. We do not author this content. We simply collect it from where it's already publicly available and unify it in one place so it's easier to browse.

Because this content originates from third parties and the internet at large, it may be incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or simply wrong by the time you see it. Prices change, stores close, offers expire, and coupon codes stop working — often without any notice reaching us. Storr makes no representation or guarantee, express or implied, that any store listing, offer, or coupon code is accurate, current, complete, or that it will work as described.

4. No responsibility for third-party stores, offers, or transactions

Storr is not a merchant, retailer, payment processor, or party to any transaction between you and a store listed on this site. When you click through to a store, apply a coupon code, or act on an offer, you are dealing directly and solely with that third-party store. Its own terms of service, privacy policy, pricing, and refund/return policy apply — not ours.

We expressly do not take responsibility or accept liability for, among other things:

• the accuracy, legality, safety, or currency of any store, product, offer, or coupon code listed;
• whether a coupon code or offer actually works, is honoured, or is still valid;
• any purchase, payment, dispute, delivery issue, defect, loss, or damage arising from a transaction with a third-party store;
• the content, security, availability, or practices of any external website we link to; and
• any store closing, changing ownership, or ceasing to operate after being listed.

You visit any linked store, and act on any offer or coupon, entirely at your own risk and discretion.

5. Third-party ownership, trademarks & copyright

Every store name, logo, trademark, product image, and piece of descriptive text on Storr that originates from a third party remains the sole property of its respective owner. Storr does not claim ownership of, and does not grant you any licence or rights to, that content. It is displayed solely to identify and describe the store for directory purposes — a use we believe is fair and informational — not to imply endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership with Storr unless stated otherwise.

Copyright and trademark protections may apply to logos, images, and text shown here. Please do not copy, reproduce, redistribute, download, or otherwise reuse any third-party content displayed on Storr beyond viewing it for your own personal, non-commercial reference. Any such rights belong to the original owner, and you are responsible for respecting them.

If you are a store owner or rights holder and want a listing, logo, description, or any other content corrected or removed — for any reason, including a copyright or trademark concern — email hello@storr.club with the store name or page URL and what you'd like changed. We will review takedown and correction requests promptly and act in good faith.

6. No warranty

Storr and everything on it — including all store, offer, and coupon content — is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including (without limitation) any implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Storr, its founders, operators, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of money, goods, data, or opportunity — arising out of or in any way connected with:

• your use of, or inability to use, Storr;
• any error, inaccuracy, omission, or delay in any store, offer, or coupon content;
• any transaction, dispute, or communication between you and a third-party store found through Storr;
• a coupon code or offer not working, being expired, or being withdrawn;
• content that is removed, corrected, or found to infringe a third party's rights; or
• any unavailability, suspension, or discontinuation of Storr itself.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations on implied warranties or liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you — but our intent, to the fullest extent the law allows, is to take on no liability for third-party content or for transactions we are not a party to.

8. Third-party services (used to run Storr)

• Supabase hosts our database and handles authentication (including Google sign-in). See Supabase's privacy policy.
• Google — if you choose "Continue with Google", Google shares your name, email, and profile photo with us per your Google account settings.

These are separate from the third-party store websites discussed above — this section covers the infrastructure providers we use to operate Storr itself.

9. Cookies & local storage

We use browser storage to keep you signed in between visits. We don't use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

10. Data retention & your rights

Your account data is kept as long as your account is active. You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — including full account deletion — at any time by emailing hello@storr.club. We'll act on verified requests as promptly as we reasonably can.

11. Children's privacy

Storr is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

12. Governing law

Storr is operated with users in India primarily in mind, and this policy is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent applicable.

13. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
